After they pull the baby out, they put the baby on this warming table, and in a matter of seconds, the baby is cleaned, foot printed, and the cord is trimmed. After a couple of initial sobs, Ellie was pretty awake. Here she is about to grab onto my finger.

It's a pretty cool feeling to hold your kid for the first time.
