Here we are in the hospital labor and delivery room. Just got the IV and monitors going. Baby's heartbeat is on the top half of the monitor. Contractions are on the lower half of the monitor. IV's are on the right. The insignificant looking yellow and black box on the left is the epidural dispenser.
One of the drawbacks of birthing at a hospital instead of the comfort of your own home is the fact that you never know what crazies will walk into your room. Clearly, this poor girl is suffering.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the nursery was all ready to go.
Notice the tent over the crib. This keeps both the crazies and the cats out of the crib, allowing Mom and Dad to sleep peacefully.
